There is a lady at my job who loves Lil Wayne.  Really.  I think she has him tagged with a gps tracker….but I digress… She has given me a nickname of Lil Trips.  Why must grown men be “Lil” anything?  I mean, really?  How about something more appropriate?  Like..”Old Dude”, or “Swagger Daddy”?  Or even, “MC Shops at Lowes and not Home Depot because Home Depot is always Junky”.  That has a nice ring to it…. Before you laugh, consider Kid-n-Play, MC Hammer, The Fat Boys, The Furious Five, Whodini, Salt-n-Pepa, Ice T, Ice Cube,and Vanilla Ice. Creative names. Original names.  Groups that had longevity. For years and years and years.  Now name the group that had “Lil” in the name that has been around long enough for their fans to have kids and grandkids.  Nuff said!
